Part A
What are the biggest challenges you face with your proposed project?
The biggest challenges are:
Meeting real objectives, with real target audiences that I have not targeted previously.
Not being repetitive, there are many gym campaigns approached in thousands of ways.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed with the workload of this semester.
Avoiding the obvious.
Part B
List at least 5 issues you will need to research or problems you will need to solve in order to develop this project.
- How to speak to (early) seniors in a way that they can relate.
- How to assure seniors that MM trainers are not intimidating and work with all stages of athleticism.
- How to convince younger people that the gym is worth the higher prices.
- If the campaign runs in local papers, what kind of quality will I be dealing with? (how will this affect the ideas?)
- Will simplicity cut through the clutter of “tell them everything ads” currently in the paper
The Gym
How would the project fit into your portfolio in terms of demonstrating your skills? How does it fit with your future career goals?
If I can discover and display real human insights, I believe this project could show a different, potentially more thoughtful side of my personality and talents.
Does the project allow you to develop new skills or knowledge (in terms of technique, creative process, or research in an area of interest)?
Yes, it allows me to explore both new forms of marketing and a new tone to my work.
In what way is the project important? How is it meaningful to you and worthy of your attention over the course of the semester?
I believe since I my own training goals, and motivational obstacles to overcome, I have some personal insight into the marketing problem.
Peta Fish Farm awareness campaign:
How would the project fit into your portfolio in terms of demonstrating your skills? How does it fit with your future career goals?
It could show a less commercial side of my work, a more humanitarian effort. Or Fishatarian ( Hyuk Hyuk )
Does the project allow you to develop new skills or knowledge (in terms of technique, creative process, or research in an area of interest)?
Yes, It would certainly be a new direction for me, potentially too new and unknown actually. Stakes is high Gnome Sane?
In what way is the project important? How is it meaningful to you and worthy of your attention over the course of the semester?
This is the reason I’m leaning away from this project. I don’t think it can maintain my interest for the semester, at least not in an environment where I’m the sole person on the campaign,
I believe the Horse Racing Awareness campaign fits with the same answers from the fish campaign,
